Abler Partners with Leicester City in the Community to Support Community Programmes Across Leicestershire

We're pleased to announce our partnership with Leicester City in the Community, the charitable arm of Leicester City Football Club.

Supporting Communities Across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland

As a registered charity funded by the Premier League Foundation, the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association, EFL in the Community and various local and national funders, Leicester City in the Community works with thousands of people across the region each year.

Engaging approximately 12,000 people annually, the charity operates across six core values – engage, inspire, and empower through togetherness, respect, and pride. Their programmes focus on improving physical health, mental health and wellbeing, education engagement and employability, and access to social interaction and opportunities.

From Premier League Kicks sessions and Football Camps, Skills Centres, and Parties, Leicester City in the Community runs a diverse range of programmes. Their Education programmes support young people in schools, whilst Disability Programmes ensure inclusive access to football and activities. They work with refugees and people seeking asylum, support young carers, and help young offenders on probation develop employability skills, all using the power of football.

Building on a Strong Foundation

Leicester City in the Community began using Abler in September 2025, initially implementing the platform for their Premier League Kicks programmes. Since then, they've been progressively rolling out the system across their portfolio of community projects.

This phased approach has allowed the charity to understand how Abler's platform works for organisations managing multiple programmes. Our technology is supporting Leicester City in the Community across several areas:

• Centralised Programme Management: Participant data, programme information, and outcomes tracking from multiple projects are managed in one platform, giving the team oversight of their operations across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
• Streamlined Operations: Managing everything from Payable Events and Venue Calendars to Staff allocation and Departments through one system, reducing administrative tasks and allowing more time for participant engagement.
• Better Communication: The Posts and Service overview features help with coordination across the charity's programmes, supporting consistent delivery whether staff are running Football Camps, Education sessions, or Disability Programmes.
• Flexible Programme Structure: The platform accommodates the charity's varied delivery model, from structured Skills Centres to community-based Premier League Kicks sessions.

Supporting Continued Growth

As Leicester City in the Community continues expanding their use of Abler across more programmes, they're using a platform designed for multi-programme community delivery.

The system handles everything from Member History tracking to Group management, allowing the charity to maintain their approach to individual participants whilst operating efficiently. This is important when working with vulnerable groups – from young carers to refugees to young offenders – where understanding individual participant journeys helps deliver effective support.

With Abler's reporting capabilities, Leicester City in the Community can demonstrate their impact to funders including the Premier League Foundation, EFL in the Community and Premier League and Professional Footballers Association. The analytics help them track effectiveness across their portfolio and make informed decisions about resource allocation.
