Update to the Shop System
In this month’s product update, we take a closer look at the upgrade to the Shop system that went live in early September.
A Better Way to Find the Right Programs for Every Family Member
The purchase process has been simplified, and it’s now even easier to find a course that matches a child’s age, gender, interests, and location. The update includes the following improvements:
- The purchasing process has been simplified, making it easier than ever to find programs that match a child’s age, gender, interests, and location. The update includes:
- More programs displayed, giving a better overview.
- Easier and faster filtering for each family member.
- A new design for the program cards.
- Improved program information – clubs can now add images and detailed descriptions for each program.
- Better club information – clubs can now share various details about their activities and provide contact details on a dedicated “About Us” page located at the top left corner of the club’s Shop page.
- Option to increase program visibility by “pinning” them to the top of each club’s Shop page.
- Improved search functionality – it’s now even easier to filter by activity type, location, age, and gender.
How These Updates Make Life Easier for Users
There is a wide range of sports and leisure activities available for children in Iceland. Now, it’s possible to access all this information in a much more efficient way than before. This reduces the time spent on registration and increases the likelihood that parents will find something that suits their children’s interests. Information is now more accessible and all in one place
What This Means for Clubs
With this new interface, clubs can present their programs more effectively by adding relevant images and more detailed descriptions, while making it easier for interested users to get in touch. Our hope is that the new interface will make sports and leisure activities even more accessible to everyone and help children find something that suits them.
What's Coming Next
We’re finalising a feature that will allow club administrators and coaches to publish posts to subgroups. It will also be possible to publish posts for various subgroups at once.
Coaches will be able to clear their list before each session and record attendance manually.
