August Release Notes

What is new in Abler, August release

Last few weeks, we focused on making everyday tasks faster and clearer for coaches, parents, and players. The headline is Mobile App 4.0, a cleaner and quicker experience that makes navigation feel light, with smoother scrolling and shorter load times. 

Book a class for all members of the family

Guardians can now book classes for their children, so linked guardians can complete a booking in one go, fewer taps, fewer drop-offs.

A new calendar Export 

Calendar Export, version 1. You can send upcoming sessions to your personal calendar on Google, Apple, or Outlook. It is a small button with a big impact on daily routines. Small button in the event details so you can export important events.

You'll find the option to add your event to your calendar in the upper right corner of the screen in the event description.

Updated posts 

Communication also received a lift. Posts now open in a focused creation window where you choose the audience first, Members, Guardians, All, or Staff. Paste a YouTube link and the video appears inline and better support for images and media. Together, these changes make announcements clearer and richer. 
Soon, we will also add subgroup selection to the creation window which we know is a highly anticipated feature among our users.

Better language support 

We added more language and region coverage. Spanish is available in the Admin, Swedish and Dutch are available in the Shop, and users in Spain and France can sign up and log in with full support. This helps clubs welcome more members with a setup that feels local from the first screen.

Just turned 18? Remove the guardians ...or just let them keep paying 

When a user turns 18, an in-app prompt explains family connection options and how to remove a guardian if they want to, which means smoother changes as young members become adults.

Other improvements

You can add staff to an Age Group, and you can tap staff avatars in the Age Group info screen to view details. Coach roles are shown in Event Details, so responsibilities are clear before a session starts. There are many small fixes under the hood. A rare issue that caused the badge counter to jump has been resolved, images and posts feel snappier, and overall performance is steadier across the app.

One more thing

A fresh Club Shop is on the way. Expect browsing, better program overview, and a smoother checkout. We will share more soon.

Staff management  is a new part of Abler that helps admins understand what happens when a coach requests a vacation or is sick. What events do we need to cover and who is available.
