The Albion Foundation is the official charity partner of West Bromwich Albion Football Club, using the power of football to deliver measurable difference in their local community. Guided by their vision to create a "Proud Albion Family who are Engaged, Inspired & Achieving their Potential," the Foundation operates a diverse portfolio of programmes that span across all age groups and abilities.
From Early Years Football sessions for children as young as 18 months through to the Memories Group supporting people with Dementia and Alzheimer's, The Albion Foundation offers wide-ranging community engagement. Their programmes include Premier League Kicks sessions, Girls Football programmes, Disability Sessions & Camps for both children and adults, and the Fit Baggies initiative providing free fitness opportunities for local adults.
The Foundation also focuses on developing talent through their structured pathway programmes, including Player Development Centres for ages 4-12, Development Academies, and their involvement in the Midland Junior Premier League. They organise tournaments and festivals that bring local clubs together, fostering community connections and sporting opportunities.
Operating from their Community Sports Hall at The Hawthorns and various community venues, The Albion Foundation uses football as a vehicle for positive social change, focusing on wellbeing, behaviour change, and promoting active lifestyles throughout the region.
