Bradford City Community Foundation Teams Up with Abler
35 Years of Community Work Gets a Tech Upgrade
Bradford City Community Foundation has been serving Bradford since 1988. Now they're partnering with Abler to help manage their growing list of community programmes.
The Foundation started with just three people. Today, over 20 staff and a team of football coaches run programmes for thousands of people across Bradford – from toddlers in nurseries to adults with disabilities.
What They Do
Bradford City Community Foundation runs:
- Football for everyone – Including a disability football club with 60+ regular players
- School programmes – Teaching kids maths and reading through football
- Youth projects – Helping young people gain skills and qualifications
- Community activities – Bringing together people from all backgrounds
How Abler Helps
The Foundation will use Abler to:
- Bring everything together – Instead of using separate spreadsheets and systems for each programme, they'll manage all activities in one place, from disability football sessions to school visits
- Track real impact – See exactly how many people attend each session, which programmes are most popular, and generate reports for funders showing the difference they're making in Bradford
- Save hours each week – Automatic registers, instant reports, and simple booking systems mean staff spend less time on admin and more time running activities
- Keep participants connected – Follow someone's journey from joining a holiday camp as a child to becoming a youth volunteer, ensuring no one gets lost between programmes
We've grown a lot over 25 years. Abler will help us stay organised as we continue to grow and reach more people who need our help.
